Workshops are being planned for the year. Details will be added as they are finalised.

Our last workshop was a mixed media workshop with Stephanie Allen. Everyone had a great time, even though some had a massive learning curve.

Above is a completed piece by Betty A., showing what was achieved during this workshop.

The last workshop was an Eco Dyeing Workshop with Natalie Billing. What a great tutor, and everyone achieved wonderful results, and are eager to continue the technique.

Community Events

The members of our Club also demonstrate our crafts, and provide tuition at Community Events when asked.

Exhibitions - Sales and Demonstrations

Our Club has many regular exhibitions throughout the year, where our members are able to sell their work. During these exhibitions we also demonstrate our crafts to the public, to let them see what these crafts entail.

Below is part of our display at our St Luke's Hall during Carnival of Flowers, September 2018.

Our Weekend Camp, "Woolly Winter Weekend in June" is over for this year. We had a wonderful time with all the lovely people who attended. The workshops, which included an un-dyeing workshop (pictured below) were well attended, and much appreciated. The results from all the workshops were lovely, expecially these tee shirts, which were un-dyed using bleach.

Save the dates 7th to 9th June 2019, for next year's camp.

Trips away

The Club organises bus trips during the year to events that interest Club members. We attend events like the Brisbane Spinners, Weavers & Fibre Artists Open Day, and Redlands Open Day.
